Intelligent condition monitoring in rail vehicles
Sensors play a central role in driving data acquisition for rail transport, particularly with regard to localization and speed acquisition. Their task is to continuously provide precise, tamper-proof data required for operational safety, accident analysis, maintenance and operational optimization. Through customized shielding concepts (EMC), mutual interference with other systems is avoided.
We help make rail operations smarter and more efficient. Our intelligent sensors analyze shocks, vibration, train inclination and temperatures at the train bogies. Event recorders store this data together with location and speed information and forward it to cloud systems.
The result: fully automated condition analysis, predictive maintenance and significantly reduced downtime – also available as a retrofit solution for greater reliability, safety and efficiency.
