Rotary encoder with up to 8 channels
The multichannel rotary encoder was developed specially for the requirements of the rail vehicle industry. It has been designed to provide independent output signals for different control electronics such as motor speed sensing, anti-skid protection, train control and rolling distance measurement. Depending on the requirements, up to eight output channels can be configured.
The measuring scale is of robust construction to withstand extreme impacts and vibrations. The magnetic sensors are resistant to harsh environmental conditions including dirt, oil, humidity or condensation due to changes in temperature. The encoder contains bearings that ensure maintenance-free, durable operation in extremely harsh operating conditions.
Customized assembly with various cables, protective sleeves and plugs is possible for all types.
