For efficient commissioning, maintenance and condition monitoring of drive systems, the new mobile service and diagnostic device from Lenord+Bauer combines professional measurement, testing and adjustment functions with browser-based operation. This enables the company's rotor position encoders to be tested and configured quickly and precisely, with no additional installation effort required.
Visualization is platform-independent and accessible via smartphone, tablet or PC — no software installation is required. Communication with the end device is via Wi-Fi, with measurement data displayed graphically in real time. Automated analysis, calibration functions and report generation significantly reduce the time required during service operations, while simultaneously ensuring reproducible results and complete documentation.
The device is universally compatible with all VarioCODER variants featuring sin/cos output and enables a plug-and-play connection without sensor dismounting. On-site adjustment of sensor tolerances allows optimal signal matching. Stored limit values and data sets enable rapid assessment of signal quality, allowing installation errors to be identified immediately.
The solution is particularly convincing in time-critical service scenarios, thanks to its very fast setup, straightforward operation and immediate diagnostic capability.
